| I am a resident of Acol
Village. Trained in the sixties at Stafford and then Goldsmiths School of Art, London University, I have painted in an amateur way all my life. My tutor at art school despaired at my lack of commitment to painting and predicted I would not take it seriously until I was seventy. I find now, just a tad short of that age, that his predictions were true, and I now paint every day. Moving to the island of Thanet from the West Country five years ago, the big skies and extraordinary landscapes are a fine source of material. I now feel committed to putting the unique landscape to canvas. Portraits, dogs, cars, boats etc taken on as commissions to keep the paint tubes flowing! Contact at 01843 845 363.
