| Ray Ovens, born in
Bristol, painted and sold as a schoolboy to assist with the expense of
becoming a violinist. This led to a wonderful life as a professional
violinist. When I retired in 1997, I took up a life time ambition to paint in watercolour full time. My wife and I moved to Broadstairs in 2004. I am a member of Acol Art Group, Broadstairs & St Peter's Art Group, East Kent Art Society and am represented by The Elham Valley Arts.
